Installation:


DEUTSCH: (English below)

1. Wähe in der Datei book.php ein administration Passwort (unter CONFIGURATION). Dieses benötigst du später um Beiträge zu löschen.
2. Kopiere die Dateien book.php, bookdata.txt, style.css und die smilies gifs auf deinen Webspace.
3. Gebe der Datei bookdata.txt die du hochgeladen hast per FTP Programm die Schreibrechte (chmod 777).
4. Fertig. Rufe das Guestbook mit book.php auf. 
5. Optional: Wenn du HTML Kenntnisse hast kannst du das Design natürlich in der Datei book.php und style.css abändern. Passe aber auf, dass du keinen PHP Code löschst!



Beiträge löschen:

Wenn du Beiträge löschen willst klicke auf den 'Administration' Link, der sich ganz unten befindet.
Nun kannst du die zu löschenden Beiträge makieren und zur Bestätigung es ganz unten mit deinem Administrationspasswort bestätigen.


Superuser Funktion:

Die Superuser Funktion ermöglicht dir deine Beiträge im Gästebuch automatisch, farblich von den Anderen hervorzuheben.
Dazu mußt du in book.php ein Superusercode festlegen, der geheim ist.
Wenn du nun eine Nachricht unter Verwendung deines Superusercodes in der NAME Zeile erstellst, wird deine Nachricht automatisch 
in einer anderen Farbe dargestellt.
Die Farbe und deinen Displaynamen legst du auch in book.php fest.

Du kannst sie ohne Einschränkung beliebig verwenden.

ENGLISH: 

1. Choose a administration password in file book.php (below CONFIGURATION). You will need it for deleting messages.
2. Copy book.php, bookdata.txt, style.css and the smilies gifs into your webspace directory.
3. Set a write authorization on bookdata.txt by using your FTP programm (chmod 777). 
4. Finished. Execute the Guestbook by calling out book.php.
5. Optional: If you have HTML knowledge you can edit the design in book.php and style.css. But be careful and don´t erase any PHP code!


Delete entries:

If you want to delete messages, click the administration link below.
Now you can select the messages you want to delete and confirm it by entering your administration passcode below.

Superuser function:

The Superuser function makes it possible to display messages automaticly in a diffrent color, in comparison with the others.
In addition to it you have to set a secret superusercode in book.php
If you write a message by using your supervisorcode in the NAME line, your message will be represented automatically in another color.
You have to set the color and the displayname also in book.php.
